ABOUT US
Meadow Spring Church is a community of believers. What does that mean? We believe that being together in friendship we grow closer to God and one another. The Bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.
Meadow Spring strives to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the hurting and the broken. Meadow Spring makes an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.
Meadow Spring highly values our relationships with one another. We look to grow through friendships, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the Bible, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

WHO WE ARE
We exist to guide you and your family into a refreshing relationship with Jesus Christ. This comes from Acts 3:19 where it reads, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
Our vision comes straight out of our purpose to guide you and your family into a refreshing relationship with Jesus. We will be a church which accepts everyone where they are but loves them too much to not see them experience and live a vibrant, refreshing relationship with Jesus. We will be a church which seeks to connect and reach those who have grown disillusioned by the traditional church. We will be a church where community is priority and no one is just a number. We will be a church which attracts people to Jesus.

In addition to our Governing Board and Staff Leadership Team, we have montly S.A.L.T. Gatherings which are made up of all staff, ministry team leaders, and volunteers. WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, in its original writings, is infallible and inerrant, and that Jesus Christ is the central and supreme subject throughout. It is the foundation for all conduct and life-style in our daily lives. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in one supreme God Who exists and Who is far greater than man. God is one in essence, but eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father is ultimately sovereign in rule, creation and providence. - Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
We believe Jesus Christ is the living eternal Word of God and the only begotten Son of God. He was fully God and fully man. His sinless life and substitutionary death on the cross was satisfaction for God for the penalty of sin. On the third day, He rose bodily and confirmed His deity and the promise of eternal life. He is the only mediator between God and man and is the Head of the Church. -John 1:1-3,14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Peter 3:18
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift(s) when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily. - 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25
We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, to bring glory to God, have fellowship with God and fulfill His purpose. However, man chose to disobey the revealed will of God and fell into sin. Man no longer accepts or understands God and is dead in his sin, incapable of choosing or doing that which is good and acceptable to God. He is totally lost and apart from salvation in Jesus Christ, is destined to eternal death and judgment. - Genesis 1:26; Genesis 3; Romans 3:23; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-3; Hebrews 9:27
We believe salvation from sin and its penalty is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. One is saved by grace and grace alone. It is a free gift of God and can in no way be a result of any work or merit on the part of man. It is given by God and God alone. There is no salvation apart from Jesus Christ. - John 14:6; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe all who have trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation make up the universal Church. This is a spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and had its beginning at Pentecost. The local church is a small physical assembly of believers gathered together for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission through intentionally pursuing the lost, worship, teaching the Word of God, fellowship, prayer, equipping Christians for service, unity and knowledge of Christ, and encouraging each other looking forward to the coming of Christ. - Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:4-16
We believe believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper (communion) are the two ordinances committed to the local church to follow. Baptism being an important step of obedience following salvation as a testimony of one's new life in Christ. The Lord's Supper is a memorial symbolizing the death of Jesus Christ of which all true believers should share in. - Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
We believe that because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security. - John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10,14; 1 Peter 1:3-5
We believe people were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. - John 3:16; 14:17; Romans 6:23; 8:17-18; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9
We believe and hold to a Biblical definition of traditional marriage as found in the Creation account of Genesis 2:21-25. With this understanding, we believe these Bible verses and others such as 1 Corinthians 7:1-3 clearly articulate that marriage is a union between one man and one woman.
